DevOps Engineer (Golang, Kubernetes)

To support us in this growth, we are currently looking for a DevOps Developer (Golang, Kubernetes) to join the Platform team.

What you will do:

  • Develop automation using tools such as Cloud Build, Docker CircleCI, Helm or any other better-suited technologies as needed;
  • Design, implement, manage and orchestrate Docker container deployments;
  • Manage, develop and maintain our integration and continuous delivery processes;
  • Improve the adaptability, security and overall quality of the infrastructure and the integration and continuous delivery processes;
  • Implement the automatic deployment of production and development environments;
  • Orchestrate and execute system upgrades (databases, caches, etc.);
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration scripts;
  • Perform, on an ongoing basis, follow-ups and tune-ups, upgrades, backups and optimization of resources, as needed;
  • Suggest improvements regarding the architecture and deployment;
  • Promote continuous integration;
  • Ensure the redundancy and stability of all essential systems;
  • Ensure data protection and recoverability of all supported systems;
  • Understand encryption and management of secret data.

Your profile:

  • 3 years of experience in a DevOps position as a programmer;
  • 1 year of experience with Golang;
  • Experience in maintaining a scalable infrastructure essential to the project;
  • Expertise in troubleshooting large scale distributed systems;
  • In-depth knowledge of deployment automation processes (continuous integration / continuous delivery);
  • Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other Clouds such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of Cloud Native technologies (Kubernetes, Knative, OpenMetrics);
  • Demonstrate independence, creativity and initiative, and be able to understand the architecture of the company and its business objectives;
  • Keen interest in learning new technologies;
  • Proficiency in Linux systems, command interpretation (shell scripting) and Unix tools;
  • Knowledge of networking (NAT, DNS, firewall, routing, load balancing, etc.);
  • Ability to work in both French and English.
