“We change, we evolve faster through [ESG] disclosure. It is through the process of disclosure that we improve, we get better, we can get great. I always believed in having that transparency.”

Larry Fink, CEO of Blackrock at SASB’s Symposium in December 2020, urging private and public companies alike to disclose their ESG performance.

Their sustainability reporting approaches

GRI et SASB were the two most widely used frameworks in 2020. In a wider context of framework convergence, SASB seems to have been adopted the fastest by our clients. We strongly believe in the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board’s vision and became one of their few licensed partners worldwide!

Throughout our conversations with our clients, we noticed an increasing interest for materiality analysis, supply chain analysis as well as diversity and Scope 3 reporting. We expect these themes to become even further cemented in 2021.

A community growing faster than ever before

All stakeholders, investors, as well as employees and consumers, have been increasingly asking companies of all types to demonstrate their sustainability leadership. While ESG reporting is becoming the norm for all companies, regardless of industry, size and business model, we hope to welcome many more companies to our community in 2021!
