Over a decade ago, we launched Metrio to build a more sustainable future, driven by the simple idea that we can improve what we can measure. Since then, our team has grown from two to over 50, and we’ve been privileged to work towards our goal with such dedicated and passionate people.
In this major step forward in our journey to empower corporations across the globe in their sustainability efforts, we are pleased to announce that we’ve joined the Nasdaq suite of ESG solutions. In our commitment, as part of the Nasdaq family, we will be able to help thousands of companies better manage and navigate the growing challenges in collecting, analyzing, disclosing and communicating their ESG data.
Nasdaq’s purpose mirrors our own ethos, in striving to champion inclusive growth and prosperity by providing business leaders with the right tools to contribute to a more sustainable future for our “pale blue dot”.
Over the past several years, Nasdaq has built a global portfolio of technology solutions and services in investor relations, governance, advisory and ESG to help corporations navigate the changing and complex corporate disclosure landscape.
Nasdaq has a strong history of and ongoing commitment to driving ESG excellence, and as the reporting market continues to shift, we believe that this acquisition will open new horizons for Metrio.
Together, our two companies will form a specialized team of over 100 professionals and many technologies and services that will address organizations’ evolving ESG needs, from supply chain emissions management to reporting framework disclosure.
We’re very enthusiastic to be sharing this new chapter with you, with our employees and with our partners. We’re excited about the prospect of bringing together two like-minded organizations to advance sustainability at a critical time and accelerate our efforts in bringing you—and the broader corporate community—pragmatic solutions to navigate the changing sustainability landscape.
"We are tremendously proud of the market leading reporting solutions our team has built over the last decade.”
Patrick Elie, CEO & Co-Founder, Metrio.
“We are excited to be part of Nasdaq as we seek new opportunities to bring our solutions to a wider set of stakeholders and increase our impact."
